Josef "Pips" Priller and Wingman, Plane not included ME109E-3 6 JG51 ACE-201 Josef "Pips" Priller(27th July 1915 -20th May 1961) was a German fighter ace who had a long career in the Luftwaffe and became one of the top aces of the Second World War. The Bf109E is from early in his career and is marked from the time of his receiving the Ritterkreuz for twenty victories. Priller was the recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords.
