Total Jacobite casualties during the battle were estimated to have been 1,500-2,000 killed or wounded. Stewart of Appin’s Regiment, originally at the start of the campaign was recorded as having 250 men. Although having apparently suffered heavily from desertion during the battle it was recorded to have had 90 killed and 65 wounded.
The two figures depicted in this new set, are also taken from the David Morier painting “An Incident in the Rebellion of 1745”.
